Can Am Renegade 70 110 EFI Starter Motor Idler Gear Kit OEM NEW A3120006N00A-KIT Complete starter idler gear repair kit for 2023-2026 Can-Am Renegade 70 EFI, Renegade 110 EFI and Renegade X XC 110 EFI youth ATVs. It combines BRP's updated idler gear bracket kit 703501254 with a new starter motor and O-ring, so the whole starter drive is fixed in one job. Fits Can-Am Renegade 70 EFI, Renegade 110 EFI and Renegade X XC 110 EFI, model years 2023-2026. Everything needed to fix a broken starter idler gear and replace the starter in one order. Addresses the problem described in BRP bulletin 2025-3: early ignition during start can turn the engine backward and slam the idler gear against the starter pinion, breaking its teeth. Symptoms are noisy, grinding cranking or no start at all. Includes BRP idler gear bracket kit 703501254, whose new bracket BRP says prevents future idler gear failures. In our shop experience, a failed idler gear usually damages the starter too (often the starter pinion), so this kit includes a replacement starter motor (A3120006N00A) and O-ring (A9321001924) along with the updated gear and bracket. Starter motor A3120006N00A with harness and 2-pin connector; O-ring A9321001924; BRP kit 703501254 with idler gear, updated bracket 705503915, (2) M6 x 20 hex flanged screws, LH crankcase (CVT cover) gasket and alignment tool 705503923. Requires removing the CVT cover, drive belt and drive pulley. Use blue Loctite 243 on the M6 bracket screws and torque to 9 Nm (80 in-lb). Torque the CVT cover screws to 10 Nm (89 in-lb) with the new gasket. The alignment tool is for setup only. Professional installation recommended.
